Videotron Closes $800 Million Notes Offering
Paul, Weiss represented the initial purchasers, led by Bank of America Merrill Lynch, RBC Capital Markets, Scotiabank and Citigroup, in connection with Videotron Ltd.'s high yield offering of $800 million aggregate principal amount of 5% Senior Notes due 2022. The offering was completed on March 14, 2012 and was conducted in the United States pursuant to Rule 144A and outside the United States pursuant to Regulation S. Videotron Ltd. is a leading Canadian telecommunications company engaged primarily in cable broadcasting and pay-television services, internet access, and cable and mobile telephone services.
Paul, Weiss also represented Bank of America Merrill Lynch, as dealer manager, in connection with Videotron's concurrent tender offer for any and all of its $395 million aggregate principal amount of 6⅞% Senior Notes due 2014.
