Financial Institutions Group: Midlevel associates with a structured finance background interested in working on warehouse and repurchase facilities-based transactions in the context of private equity and sponsor M&A (including setting up novel structures across forward flow agreements, structured facilities, insurance-wrapped products, rated note feeders and funding platforms) to join our Corporate Department/Finance Group. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $260,000-$390,000.
Restructuring: Associates with 2-5 years of experience to join our Restructuring Department. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $235,000-$365,000.
Fund Finance: Associates with 4-8 years of experience to join our Finance Department, focusing on Fund Finance. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $310,000-$435,000.
JUDICIAL CLERKS
Serving as a judicial clerk offers an invaluable experience that we encourage associates to pursue. Currently, the firm’s ranks include 10 former Supreme Court clerks and more than 80 former clerks from federal courts of appeals.
Paul, Weiss lawyers who join the firm directly after completing a judicial clerkship will receive a bonus of $50,000. Individuals who have completed a clerkship of two years or more, or have completed two or more years of clerkships, will receive a $70,000 bonus.
