Shopify Inc., a leading cloud-based commerce platform designed for small and medium-sized businesses, closed its initial public offering of 8,855,000 Class A subordinate voting shares at an initial offering price of $17 per share. The sale of the shares yielded $150,535 million in aggregate gross proceeds. The Class A shares are listed on the NYSE under the ticker symbol "SHOP" and on the TSX under the ticker symbol "SH."
Paul, Weiss represented the underwriters on the offering, led by Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse Securities (USA) and RBC Dominion Securities as joint bookrunners.
