Shopify Closes $1.56 Billion Public Equity Offering

Paul, Weiss represented the underwriters in Shopify Inc.’s $1.56 billion public offering of 1,180,000 Class A subordinate voting shares at a price of $1,315 per share.
The underwriters were led by Citigroup, Credit Suisse and Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC as book-running managers. Shopify, a leading global e-commerce company, intends to use the proceeds to strengthen its balance sheet, providing flexibility to fund its growth strategies.
