Paul, Weiss launched the second annual Legal Health Check-Up with the Robin Hood Foundation, New York City’s largest poverty-fighting organization supporting low-income families by fueling the most impactful nonprofits across all five boroughs. The firm is currently shortlisted for the Financial Times’ “Most Innovative Law Firm in North America” award partly in recognition of last year’s Legal Health Check-Up initiative.
Nearly 60 transactional attorneys from the corporate, tax, executive compensation, real estate and data privacy groups are joining this year’s effort. The initiative will assist 15 Robin Hood community partner organizations and nonprofits that participated in Robin Hood’s Grant Readiness and Insights Training Fund, which supports smaller nonprofits that are at a crucial milestone of development or expansion. The nonprofits joining this initiative focus on some of the most pressing issues currently impacting New York City—ranging from community housing and homelessness to immigration, education and economic mobility.
The initiative is being supervised by corporate partner Ray Russo and joined by corporate partners Chris Kaoutzanis, Lindsey Wiersma and Mike Vogel; executive compensation partner Rebecca Coccaro; real estate of counsel Meredith Kane and partner Sal Gogliormella; tax partner Brian Grieve; corporate counsel Caitlin Kelly, Carrie Harrison, Cris Amodeo, Femi Austin, Gabriella Toossi and Jennifer Songer; executive compensation counsel Ron Aizen and Sasha Belinkie; litigation counsel Steve Herzog; corporate associates Adrienne Tang, Alison Rae, Allison Flor, Andrew Rodriguez, Angela Gu, Ashlyne Polynice, Bailey Kay, Benjamin Krohnengold, CJ Maron, Daina Goldenberg, Ethan Chuang, Evan Yoo, Gal Lapid Rogers, Grant Rosen, Irini Tsounakas, Jamal Bailey, Jamie Lee, Jennifer Scoler, Jimmy Zhou, Jordan Freisleben, Katia Bogomolova, Lara Solomons, Makesi Buddy, Min Jae Kim, Rong Jiao, Ruel Jerry, Ryan Blicher, Sean Malone, Spencer Rosen, Tian Yang and Zach Denkensohn; executive compensation associates Madhura Bhat and Mo Kahn; tax associates Dhrumit Joshi, Leon Dalezman and Valentine Lysikatos Carey; and litigation associates Alex Polsky and Neil Chitrao. The initiative is coordinated by pro bono attorney Emily Donohoe.
