Secretary Johnson to Speak at National Security and Innovation Event

Secretary Jeh Johnson will participate in a panel discussion focused on innovation and entrepreneurship efforts related to national security. The panel, sponsored by the Partnership for New York City, is the banner event of MD5 Starts NYC, a public-private partnership between the Department of Defense (DOD), NYU and a network of top U.S. research universities to promote civil-military technology collaboration based on non-sensitive defense technology. Fellow panelists will include Theodore Roosevelt, IV, Managing Director, Investment Banking, Barclays PLC; David Stapleton, Director, Global Markets and Investments, Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary, U.S. Department of Defense; Andrew Hamilton, President, New York University; and will be moderated by Kathryn S. Wylde, President & CEO, Partnership for New York City. The event will take place on April 12 in New York City.
