John Carlin to Moderate Aspen Institute Panel on Technology and National Security Risk

Litigation partner John Carlin will moderate a panel, “An ‘All-Tools’ Approach to Disrupting Digital Threats,” hosted by the Aspen Institute. The panel will discuss the U.S. government’s approach to disrupting digital threats, including the ways in which it uses investment strategy, trade policy, prosecutions and export controls to address threats to national security.

Panelists will include Matt Axelrod, assistant secretary for export enforcement at the Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security; Paul Rosen, assistant secretary of the Treasury for Investment Security; and Cynthia Kaiser, deputy assistant director of the FBI’s Cyber Division.
