John Carlin to Discuss Investor Risk Amid Increased Export Enforcement at SALT Conference

Litigation partner John Carlin will participate in a panel on “Investment Risk at the Intersection of Advanced Technology and National Security,” as part of the SALT iConnections New York 2023 conference. Alongside moderator Silverado Policy Accelerator Chief of Staff and former DOJ spokesman Marc Raimondi and Commerce Department Assistant Secretary Matthew Axelrod, John will explore how enhanced government focus on export and sanctions enforcement is driving compliance risks for companies and their investors. The three will also address the recently announced joint agency Disruptive Technology Strike Force and cover other significant policy changes concerning export violation voluntary self-disclosures.
