Litigation partner Jeannie Rhee co-wrote a guest column, “For Asian American Lawyers, Good Mentorship is Crucial,” published in Law360. The authors discuss how finding a good mentor is key to navigating the legal world as an Asian American lawyer, which comes with its own set of unique challenges. Jeannie offers advice for both mentors and mentees, including how to build a mentoring relationship, seek out promotions and navigate stereotypes. The authors also discuss how fostering mentorship as a two-way street will enrich the careers of both the mentor and the mentee, and ultimately lead to the greater goal of mutual understanding across cultural lines.
