Paul, Weiss’s Washington, D.C. office hosted a discussion with The New Yorker journalist Sarah Stillman as part of the D.C. Diversity Speakers Series. Joined by litigation associates Arpine Lawyer and Paul Brachman, Stillman spoke about her investigative reporting on climate change, labor and immigration.
In addition to being a staff writer at The New Yorker, Stillman is a lecturer at Yale University, a MacArthur Fellow and the director of the Global Migration Project at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. The discussion centered on her two recent pieces on migrant workers who rebuild communities after climate disasters and the lasting repercussions of Trump-era immigration reforms.
