Paul, Weiss is the top firm nationally in the percentage of black attorneys, according to the nonprofit Lawyers of Color. In its 2019 edition of Black Student’s Guide to Law Schools and Law Firms, released in March, the group evaluated the percentage of black attorneys in the U.S. offices of about 400 large firms, drawing on information the group collected as well as data from the National Association for Law Placement (NALP) and Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA)/Vault. The rankings were highlighted in a story on April 2 in the ABA Journal.
