IBM Completes $6.4 Billion Acquisition of HashiCorp

Paul, Weiss advised IBM on its all-cash acquisition of HashiCorp Inc. for $35 per share, representing an enterprise value of $6.4 billion. HashiCorp is a software infrastructure company focused on using automation to help organizations manage hybrid- and multi-cloud computing environments. Marking a continuation of IBM’s deep focus and investment in hybrid cloud and artificial intelligence, the deal creates a comprehensive end-to-end hybrid cloud platform that will assist clients in accelerating innovation, strengthening security and getting more value from the cloud.
