International Financial Law Review (IFLR) shortlisted Paul, Weiss across twelve categories in its 2025 Americas Awards. The firm is a finalist in six “Deal of the Year” categories: the M&A category for advising on Inhibrx’s sale of assets to Sanofi and related spinoff in a deal valued at $2.2 billion, led by corporate partners Benjamin Goodchild and Krishna Veeraraghavan; the Private Equity category for advising a special committee of independent directors of Nuvei Corporation in the company’s approximately $6.3 billion take-private acquisition by global private equity investor Advent International, alongside the company’s founder and existing shareholders Novacap and CDPQ, led by corporate partners Adam Givertz and Ian Hazlett; the Private Equity category for advising Tricon Residential in its $3.5 billion take-private acquisition by Blackstone Real Estate Partners X and Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust, led by corporate partners Matt Abbott, Chris Cummings and Brian Lavin; the Restructuring category for advising an ad hoc group of creditors of Digicel Limited and its subsidiaries in the company’s consensual financial restructuring of approximately $3.8 billion of debt, led by restructuring partners Andy Rosenberg and Brian Bolin; the Restructuring category for advising an ad hoc group of first lien, second lien and unsecured lenders comprising $3.2 billion, nearly forty percent of Endo Pharmaceutical’s funded debt, in the chapter 11 restructuring of the company, led by restructuring partners Alice Eaton and Andy Rosenberg; and the Securitization and Structured Finance category for advising Apollo and ATLAS SP Partners in their $5 billion strategic financing and capital markets collaboration with BNP Paribas, led by corporate partner Anastasia Peterson.
The publication also named corporate partner Dotun Obadina a finalist for “Rising Star: United States.”
The annual awards recognize legal innovation through dealmaking and work that improves the cross-border investment market. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on May 14.
