Anastasia V. Peterson is Co-Chair of our global Financial Services Group and a partner in the Corporate Department. Her practice focuses on representing alternative asset management firms and their platforms in a broad range of transactions across the United States, Europe, Asia and emerging markets, including financial services acquisitions and strategic initiatives, bank partnerships, leveraged buyouts, alternative asset structured financings, warehouse, fund and holdco financings, securitizations and OTC derivatives. Anastasia also has significant experience in the creation of origination platforms and new financial products for large asset managers and other financial institutions.
Anastasia provides strategic, transactional and financing advice. She works with virtually all types of corporate, structured and financial products, including leveraged loans, warehouse and repo facilities, forward flow agreements, receivables and origination arrangements, preferred equity, margin loans, holdco financings, subscription facilities, NAV facilities and hybrid credit facilities. Anastasia also has extensive experience in the negotiation and structuring of OTC derivatives for hedging, investment and financing purposes, as well as advising on compliance and regulatory requirements under the Dodd-Frank Act.
Anastasia is recognized as a “Recommended Lawyer” in structured finance (both securitizations and derivatives) by The Legal 500.

Anastasia has worked on various matters involving Apollo Global Management, Bain Capital, Davidson Kempner, Hudson Bay Capital, KPS Capital Partners and M-Cor, as well as their current and former affiliates.
Anastasia’s recent portfolio company and platform experience includes advising ADT, Aqua Finance, Aspen, Atlas SP, Athene, Brightspeed, Great Canadian Gaming Corporation, Midcap, Newfi, PK Airfinance, TD Synnex, Venerable Holdings and Wheels, among others.
