Krishna Veeraraghavan Discusses Expectations for Dealmaking in 2025 With The American Lawyer
March 19, 2025
M&A Global Co-Head Krishna Veeraraghavan spoke with The American Lawyer about the dealmaking forecast for the rest of 2025 in an article accompanying his recognition as one of the publication’s 2025 “Dealmakers of the Year.” In “Dealmaking Expectations for 2025 Meeting an Uncertain Reality,” published on March 19, Krishna discusses how a transition period might be necessary before M&A activity increases, giving companies time to adjust in light of valuation concerns.
“When the stock market is going up and down, there is some mismatching between buyers and sellers,” Krishna says. “Those need to get closer, it’s fundamental. Add in tariffs and concerns over supply chains, [and] good, well-run companies will need time to adjust.”
