Paul, Weiss client FirstGroup plc, the largest surface-based passenger transportation group in the United Kingdom and North America, closed a £615 million ($1 billion) fully underwritten rights issue. FirstGroup, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange, operates Greyhound and First Student school buses in the United States and Canada, as well as buses and trains in the U.K. The London office was co-counsel to the issuer along with Slaughter and May.
