Description of Program and Relief
Wisconsin Works
Wisconsin provides Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) to eligible families, including the Wisconsin Works (W-2) program. Although no specific guidance has issued with respect to COVID-19, affected families may qualify if they meet the eligibility requirements (below). The program provides employment services, case management and cash assistance to eligible families.

Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions
The list of criteria for the program is available here. Generally, to be non-financially eligible, the applicant must be a custodial parent, be 18 years of age or older, be a resident of Wisconsin, amongst others. There are other eligibility information regarding minor parents, noncustodial parents, pregnant women with at risk pregnancies. Federal law restricts eligibility for TANF-funded cash assistance to citizens and immigrants with legal status.
