Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (NMWorks)

New Mexico provides Temporary Assistance for Needy Families through the NMWorks program. In addition to a cash benefit, NMWorks provides parents with short-term training and other services to help them become employed and move toward self-sufficiency. Legal guardians, as well as grandparents/relatives caring for their relative children, can receive services and support as well. Although there is no specific guidance related to COVID-19, families may be eligible if they meet general income and asset limit eligibility requirements.
