Description of Program and Relief

Extended Hours to File Unemployment Claims and Waivers of Certain Unemployment Eligibility Requirements

The State of Nevada has expanded its hours for filing online unemployment claims at http://ui.nv.gov/css.html from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday. Additionally, the work-search requirement and seven-day waiting period for approved unemployment benefits have been waived, allowing these claims to be submitted to receive benefits as soon as possible.
