Description of Program and Relief
Continuation of Free Nutrition Programs for Students
In light of COVID-19, the state government applied for and received waivers to allow nutrition programs providing free or reduced cost meals for students to continue despite school closures. Some districts are providing free meals for students and reduced cost meals for adults as well.
