Description of Program and Relief
Iowa Women Infants & Children (WIC)
The Iowa Department of Public Health provides a supplemental nutrition program for babies, children under the age of 5, pregnant women, breastfeeding women, and women who have had a baby in the last 6 months through its Women Infants & Children (“WIC”) program. Although no specific guidance has issued with respect to COVID-19, affected families may qualify if they meet eligibility requirements (below).
