Description of Program and Relief
Women, Infants, and Children Program (WIC)
The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is an assistance program for healthcare and nutrition of low-income pregnant women, breastfeeding women, and children under the age of five. While no specific guidance has been provided for those affected by COVID-19, individuals and families adversely impacted by COVID-19 should be eligible if they meet general eligibility requirements.

Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions
The Indiana WIC Program serves Indiana residents who are: Pregnant Women; Breastfeeding Women (up to baby's 1st birthday); Non-Breastfeeding Postpartum Women (up to 6 months); Infants (up to their 1st birthday); and Children (up to their 5th birthday). An applicant must be at nutritional risk and be income eligible.
