Executive Order No. 2020-05 (COVID-19 Executive Order No. 3): School Closures & Absences

In light of COVID-19, the Illinois Governor has closed all public and private K-12 schools for the remainder of the school year. He has ordered that related student absences will not contribute to calculation of “chronic absence,” and has suspended the approval process for e-learning programs.
