Description of Program and Relief

Chicago Public Schools Remote Learning Plan

The Chicago Public Schools district has announced a pre-K-12 remote learning plan as part of its response to COVID-19. In-person instruction at Chicago Public Schools has been suspended for the rest of the school year. The remote learning plan will continue through Thursday June 18, 2020.

Utilizing socioeconomic data and hardship indicators, the district will be distributing more than 100,000 devices to families in the weeks ahead to ensure students have significantly greater access to electronic learning resources.
