Description of Program and Relief

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as the Idaho Food Stamps program, helps families buy needed food to stay healthy and safe. An eligible family receives an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card, which can be used just like any other debit card at the grocery store. Although there is no specific guidance related to COVID-19, families may be eligible if they meet general income and asset limit eligibility requirements.
