Description of Program and Relief

Free Financial Counseling

This program allows New York City residents to access free one-on-one financial counseling and coaching.

Counselors can help individuals with a variety of financial issues, including (1) reducing their debt; (2) understanding their rights and responsibilities when it comes to student loans; (3) strengthening their credit score; (4) developing financial savings; (5) balancing their budget; (6) opening a bank account; and (7) separating personal and business finances.

This program is available to any New York City resident.

Due to the current outbreak, counselors are available only for phone sessions.
