Description of Program and Relief

AIDS Foundation of Chicago COVID-19 Grant Program

The AIDS Foundation of Chicago has created a financial assistance program to support individuals who are living with HIV and AIDS, or using PrEP, and experiencing financial hardship due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The grants are intended to assist individuals with rental payments, mortgage payments, bills, and emergency food assistance.

To qualify for assistance, individuals must:

  • Reside in the Chicago metropolitan area;

  • Be HIV or AIDS-positive or taking PrEP; and

  • Have experienced financial hardship due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
