Rohan Dey is a partner in the Corporate Department and a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity groups. He advises private equity houses, financial sponsors and investment managers on the most complex cross-border transactions, including public and private M&A, joint ventures, co-investments, disposals, restructurings, portfolio company issues and management investment plans across a broad range of sectors and industries.

EXPERIENCE

Rohan’s notable representations have included:

  • TDR Capital LLP on the acquisition of Acqua & Sapone from H.I.G. Capital and the founding Barbarossa family
  • KPS Capital Partners on its:
    • €3.5 billion acquisition of Innomotics, a Germany-based supplier of electric motor and large drive systems, from Siemens AG, a Germany-based technology company
    • $350 million acquisition of Tate & Lyle PLC’s remaining ownership interest of 49.7% in Primary Products Investments LLC, or Primient, a leading producer of food and industrial ingredients made from plant-based, renewable resources
  • Q-Energy, a Madrid based private equity fund, on its acquisition of Heelstone Renewable Energy, a utility-scale solar and storage developer, from Ares Capital
  • Spirent Communications plc on its strategic acquisition of NetScout's Test Lab Automation division
  • Ontario Teachers Pension Plan on its investment into a wind development platform in New York and New Jersey alongside Corio Generation, TotalEnergies and Rise Light & Power
  • Techenergy Ventures on its investment in Eden Geopower
  • A TDR Capital-led consortium (comprising ADIA, ATP, GIC, Goldman Sachs, PGGM) on the cross-border business combination of LeasePlan with ALD Automotive, Société Générale’s car leasing division, for €4.9 billion in cash, shares and warrants
  • DigitalBridge on the sale of Wildstone, a leading owner of outdoor media infrastructure, to Antin Infrastructure Partners
  • Telemos Capital on the sale of Sanoptis, a leading European ophthalmology services group, to family-backed investment holding company Groupe Bruxelles Lambert
