Alice Eaton and Sean Mitchell to Speak at PLI Event on Distressed Debt and Restructuring

Restructuring partners Alice Eaton and Sean Mitchell will participate in panel discussions as part of Practising Law Institute’s Recent Developments in Distressed Debt, Restructurings, and Workouts 2023 program. Alice, who is also a chairperson of this event, will deliver opening remarks and participate in “Market Update: Distressed Debt and Restructurings,” which will cover the current state of restructuring markets and predictions for 2023, among other topics. Sean will speak on “Rights Offering Updates and Trends,” which will address using a rights offering to raise capital for emergence, the legitimacy of direct allocations and concerns about unequal treatment, and recent case studies, among other topics.
The event will take place both virtually and in person in New York City on January 20. Alice’s opening remarks will take place at 9 a.m. ET, followed by her panel at 9:15 a.m. ET. Sean’s panel will take place at 3:30 p.m. ET.
