Altor Partners to Acquire CCM Hockey

Paul, Weiss is advising Sweden-based Altor Equity Partners in its acquisition of CCM Hockey, an iconic hockey brand based in Canada, from Birch Hill Equity Partners. Under the terms of the transaction, Altor Fund VI will support management to accelerate and unlock growth opportunities, in both current and new segments, products and markets. Altor's track record of building world-class consumer brands to realize their untapped potential has attracted companies like the global fashion house Toteme, the winter sports brand Rossignol Group and the audio powerhouse Marshall Group. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2024, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
