Audrey also advises multinationals in connection with the privacy and security components of acquisitions and other M&A transactions. In addition, she helps clients handle global security incidents, notification to appropriate parties and other legal obligations arising as a result of data breaches.
A native of Belgium, Audrey is dual-qualified and counsels clients on both E.U. and U.S. laws and regulations, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), ePrivacy directive, California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Children’s Online Privacy Protection Rule (COPPA), My Health My Data Act (MHMD) and EU AI Act, as well as industry requirements and best practices. - conducting numerous global compliance assessments and helping multinationals embed privacy considerations in their product development process and offerings before they go to market; and
- representing consumer businesses in front of regulators, and enabling clients to take informed, strategic steps to avoid regulatory actions and limit legal and reputational exposure.
