An article posted to The Daily Beast on October 3, titled "Doctors Said They Shook Their Baby to Death. They Didn't," recounts the story of a young black couple in the Bronx wrongfully accused of murdering their infant son in an instance of Shaken Baby Syndrome. Paul, Weiss served as co-counsel with The Bronx Defenders in defending Jarayha Wolf, the mother profiled in the article. After years of litigation, the legal team was able to show the court that a rare medical condition caused her infant son's death, not abuse, and Jarayha was exonerated.
