15-Year-Old Publishes Account of His Parents’ Challenge to Mississippi Adoption Ban

The Huffington Post published an account by 15-year-old Hudson Garner of the preliminary injunction hearing held in the Southern District of Mississippi on November 6th in which Paul, Weiss sought to enjoin Mississippi from enforcing its law banning gay and lesbian couples from adopting. Garner is the son of Kathy Garner and Susan Hrostowski, one of the plaintiff couples who are represented by Paul, Weiss in the lawsuit, along with the Campaign for Southern Equality, the Family Equality Council and three other couples. Paul, Weiss's motion remains sub judice.
