Pro Bono Clients Obtain Victory in Special Immigrant Juvenile Status Case
- Client News
- December 3, 2015
Kings County Family Court Judge William Franc Perry appointed a
guardian for two Paul, Weiss clients and granted their motion for
special findings, enabling them to apply for permanent residency
under the Special Immigrant Juvenile Status statute. Our clients,
18-year-old and 15-year-old brothers from El Salvador, traveled to
the United States on their own after having survived gang violence
in El Salvador. They are now reunited with their mother in
Brooklyn.
The Paul, Weiss team included litigation associate Daniel Wolff;
and corporate associate Rosalia Martinez Rial. Litigation partner
Andrew
Gordon supervised the case.
