Paul, Weiss Partners With NYLAG in Mobile Legal Help Center Initiative

On February 27, Paul, Weiss joined the New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG) in its Mobile Legal Help Center initiative, which promotes access to and trust in the justice system by bringing lawyers to local communities to provide pro bono legal assistance. To accommodate the needs of clients who cannot travel to legal centers, NYLAG also runs this initiative virtually.
After a training from NYLAG on the purpose and function of the remote legal help center, a group of eight Paul, Weiss volunteers joined NYLAG staff in conducting intake interviews throughout the day.
The Paul, Weiss team included corporate associates Danielle Goldenberg, Serena Highley, Michael McKenna, Kevin Miri, Haley Puah, Alina Skiljic and Jennifer Wang, and executive compensation associate Jason Kusnerick. The clinic was organized by pro bono coordinator Kennady Wade.
