Paul, Weiss, IBM and the Pro Bono Partnership Provide COVID-19 Guidance to 85 Nonprofit Organizations

Paul, Weiss, in collaboration with IBM Corporation and the Pro Bono Partnership, hosted a webinar for more than 85 participants from not-for-profit organizations across the New York metropolitan area. The presentation, “What Your Nonprofit Needs to Know About Commercial Contracts and Leases During the Pandemic,” covered topics such as determining whether a force majeure clause applies to a commercial contract, whether tenants can cancel their leases or pay less rent during the pandemic, and practical tips for negotiating contracts during COVID-19 and going forward.
