Paul, Weiss Drafts Support Petitions for Survivors of Domestic Abuse

In partnership with Sanctuary for Families, Paul, Weiss attorneys participated in a new family court petition-drafting clinic through which we helped survivors of domestic abuse and gender-based violence initiate child and spousal support proceedings. Through the clinic, our attorneys worked with survivors to draft support petitions, financial disclosure affidavits and related court papers, and provided guidance on what to expect as their support actions proceed. These limited-scope representations will greatly help survivors receive the financial support to which they are entitled and often desperately need.
