Panama Paper Journalists Complete Spinoff Into Independent Nonprofit News Organization

Paul, Weiss represented the organization behind the Panama Papers, the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ), in its spinoff from the Center for Public Integrity, which founded ICIJ in 1997. As of February 24, ICIJ is a fully independent nonprofit news organization within the Worldwide Investigative Reporting Enterprise (WIRE), a newly-formed nonprofit organization committed to cross-border investigative reporting. Paul, Weiss also assisted ICIJ team in forming WIRE as a nonprofit entity.
