Center for Popular Democracy, Inc. Completes Merger with The Leadership Center for the Common Good

Paul, Weiss client Center for Popular Democracy, Inc. (CPD) completed its merger with The Leadership Center for the Common Good (LCCG), with CPD as the surviving entity. CPD is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting economic and social justice and advancing civil and human rights through policy research and advocacy, scholarship, organizational and coalitional development and community education.
The merger has received considerable attention from New York and DC governmental officials and media, including coverage by The Huffington Post, The Hill and a congratulatory announcement from New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio.
