Antitrust partner Nicole Kar co-authored a chapter in the Research Handbook on Sustainability and Competition Law, which explores the interplay between competition law and sustainability. In Chapter 24, “Sustainability and competition in the UK,” Nicole examines the UK’s approach to sustainability in a post-Brexit context, discussing the Competition and Markets Authority’s environmental sustainability agreements, its differences from EU agency approaches, features of its Green Agreements Guidance, and the role of sustainability in other aspects of competition policy.
