Litigation partner Joe Simons co-authored the article "Continuity and Change in the 2010 Merger Guidelines" with Malcolm Coate, an economist at the Federal Trade Commission, which was published in the October 2010 issue of the CPI Antitrust Journal. The article discusses the revisions made to the 2010 Merger Guidelines, which outline the principal analytical techniques, practices, and the enforcement policy of the Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission with respect to mergers and acquisitions involving actual or potential competitors under the federal antitrust laws.
