Southern District Judge Edgardo Ramos dismissed with prejudice and without leave to amend antitrust claims against Paul, Weiss clients Empire Resorts, Inc. and Monticello Raceway Management, Inc. Our clients own and operate the harness racing track and video gaming facility in Monticello, New York and have plans with a developer to build a destination resort, track and casino. A rival developer, which owns the site of the former Concord Hotel, charged our client and its developer partner with monopolization and restraint of trade.
The Paul, Weiss team included litigation partner Moses Silverman, who argued the motion to dismiss, and counsel Daniel Crane.
