Tee St. Matthew-Daniel Discusses Negotiating Dispositions at ABA International Cartel Workshop

Litigation partner Tee St. Matthew-Daniel participated in a panel on June 25 as part of the 2024 International Cartel Workshop hosted by the American Bar Association’s Antitrust Law Section. Tee’s panel, “Demonstration – Finishing the Job,” covered the negotiation of a disposition in both the United States and the European Union. The panel demonstrated a negotiation between counsel and the U.S. Department of Justice addressing whether and to what extent the DOJ will credit a company’s decision to self-report anticompetitive conduct. The panel also featured a negotiation between counsel and the European Commission addressing considerations impacting its calculation of a fine in antitrust matters.
