Paul, Weiss Wins Two Global Competition Review Awards

Global Competition Review named Paul, Weiss the winner of two categories in its annual GCR Awards, which recognize the cases, law firms, lawyers and enforcers who excelled in the competition and antitrust space over the past year. The firm was recognized in the “Behavioral Matter of the Year (Americas)” category for its representation of Google in the U.S. government’s landmark civil antitrust case over the company’s alleged monopolization of advertising technology, led by litigation partners Karen Dunn and Jeannie Rhee. The firm was also recognized in the “Litigation of the Year: Cartel Defense” category for its representation of Deutsche Bank in the Ninth Circuit’s affirmance of the dismissal of a lawsuit alleging that several major banks conspired to fix the London Interbank Interest Rate (LIBOR), led by litigation partners Jessica Carey and Meredith Dearborn. Winners were recognized at a ceremony on April 1.
