- January 30, 2024
Litigation partners Josh Soven and Tee St. Matthew-Daniel will participate in the 2024 GCR Live: Law Leaders Global Conference. Josh will moderate a plenary session, “Convergence or divergence across the Atlantic and over the Channel,” which will discuss recent trends in merger control enforcement across different jurisdictions that have amplified the complexity of cross-border transactions; and strategies for navigating an increasingly uncertain and unpredictable merger control landscape.
Tee will participate in “Antitrust: Cartel investigations – back to the future?” which will explore new challenges and trends facing defendants and agencies as investigations move forward within the context of shifting antitrust paradigms and post-Covid business realities. The panel will go over leniency as a defense tool for agencies, new tools authorities are using to detect and prosecute cartels on their own initiatives, and lessons from recent U.S. cartel litigation.
The conference will take place in Miami, Florida, from January 31 to February 2. Tee’s panel will take place on February 1 at 3:15 p.m. ET; Josh’s panel will take place on February 2 at 10:45 a.m. ET.
