Paul, Weiss “Highly Recommended” Across Multiple Regions in Global Competition Review’s GCR 100 2025

Global Competition Review (GCR) ranked Paul, Weiss as “highly recommended” in the publication’s 2025 “GCR 100” lists in the New York, Washington and UK jurisdictions. The annual lists provide a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the law firms and economic consultancies doing the most important antitrust work globally.

GCR highlighted the New York office’s representations of Continental Grain on its joint acquisition, alongside Cargill, of Sanderson Farms; Deutsche Bank in various financial sector multidistrict litigations; Mastercard in various litigations; and FIFA in antitrust claims brought by Relevant Sports, among other matters.

In Washington, GCR noted the firm’s work defending Amazon in two putative consumer class actions challenging its pricing policies; Google in the DOJ’s blockbuster lawsuit seeking to break up the company’s digital advertising business; and on various merger control matters, including on behalf of Collectors Universe, Amedisys and Atrium Health.

GCR spotlighted the UK antitrust practice’s rapid growth, as well as its work advising EP Corporate Group on its recommended cash offer for International Distribution Services, as well as other major representations, including for Apollo, TDR and TPG.
