Paul, Weiss Hosts ESG Virtual Webinar “Bridging the Divide of ESG”

On February 3, Paul, Weiss hosted a virtual webinar, “Bridging the Divide of ESG: Linking Business and the Legal & Risk Ecosystems,” in collaboration with the NYU Stern Center for Sustainable Business. Chief Sustainability and ESG Officer Dave Curran facilitated a discussion about the growing significance of ESG commitments and values to stakeholders, how to bridge the barrier between business executives and their legal and governance counterparts, and strategies for furthering ESG goals and awareness within institutions, among other topics.

Featured speakers included Tensie Whelan, clinical professor and director of NYU Stern School of Business’s Center for Sustainable Business; Paula Loop, assurance partner & leader at the governance insights center of PricewaterhouseCoopers; and Michael Zuckert, general counsel of Silicon Valley Bank Financial Group.
