Dave Curran Moderates Panel at NYSBA Annual Business Section Meeting

Sustainability and ESG Advisory Practice Co-Chair Dave Curran moderated a panel, “Where Does NY Stand in the Competition Among States and Regions for Business?” at the New York State Bar Association’s Annual Business Law Section Meeting. The panel discussed where New York stands in the competition among states for business; whether better business entity laws draw more businesses to New York; and whether board diversity requirements give states a competitive edge. The panelists included Katayun Jaffari, chair of Cozen O’Connor’s Corporate Governance & Securities Group; professor Christopher M. Bruner of the University of Georgia School of Law; and professor Jens Christian Dammann of the School of Law at the University of Texas at Austin.
