Description of Program and Relief
Extension of Expiration Dates for Certain Driver’s Licenses, Permits, and Registration
The West Virginia DMV is extending the expiration date for any of the following documents with an expiration date between March 1, 2020 and August 1, 2020: (i) Any Driver’s License including Commercial Driver’s License; (ii) Instructional Permits, including Commercial Permits; (iii) Vehicle registration, including temporary vehicle registrations or plates.
Any Commercial Driver’s License holder whose medical certification expired in March or April will have until June 30th to provide a new medical certification.
