Description of Program and Relief
The Mainstreet Preservation Grant for Rural or Minority-Owned Small Businesses
The Mainstreet Preservation Grant, provided by the Salt Lake Chamber’s Utah Job Opportunities Foundation, is distributing grants of up to $5,000 to Utah rural and/or minority owned small businesses with fewer than 50 employees that are in immediate need of assistance due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Businesses may apply through their local chambers of commerce or county economic development centers.

Applicants must be a Utah rural and/or minority small business with fewer than 50 employees, be nominated by their local Utah chamber of commerce or county economic development center, and submit a completed W-9 Form.
